name, Cash Kennedy
age, nineteen
sexuality, male
orientation, heterosexual
job on the ship, singer
are they good at their job? how?, Of course, he's a good singer. Not to mention he can play a wide range of other instruments. If he wasn't singing on a cruise ship, he'd be singing elsewhere whether he was making decent money or not. He loves music, its his life, he takes it very seriously.
cabin,
His cabin is usually quite neat, though whenever he's in a rush and has to change out of his casual clothes into his worth clothes he always throws around his stuff and after everything is done it does look a bit trashed. But whenever he gets the time he does sort things out and tidies things up a bit.

history,
His family is pretty decent…well from the outside. Like most families that issues most of the internal problems were covered up through fake smiles and polite gestures just to appear as if nothing was ever wrong. However most of the problems aren’t even spoken of inside the family at all. Most of overlooked or have immediate action taken. The problems his sisters have are definitely the worst of the family but for the most part have been dealt with besides a few consistent ones that will probably never go away. Problems haven't stopped since but the Kennedy's have just swept the problem underneath the rug and dealt with it in the usual cheery fake manner. His family is pretty much the Leave It To Beaver type of people. Like imagine, upright Bostonian father and the stay at home blonde mother who loves to plan golf trips with her country club friends. Cash had always been the ignored son, he just didn't fit in. He had no interest in business like his father. He wanted to be in a band or go live in some crappy apartment and just live life freely without any worries.
He was always the kind of oddball kid. His friends and him at the age of seven would stroll around the schoolyard singing 'Pray for the Dead and the Dead will Pray for you.' Sure his parents were around but he never really got along with them. They always pushed him to do things and do the right thing to get into college. The worst problems were with his mom, who never really understood him and just passed him off as the problem child who was probably going to end up in the next Columbine. Born and raised in a pretty middle class family, Cash really had no problems while he was growing up. Although his parents were pretty much the 'Be a man' type of teaching. One that sticks most of all was when he fell down a flight of stone stairs and broke his foot, his mother told him it was nothing and that he had to walk with his sister and help her sell Girl Scout cookies. Once he complained she said it was because he wanted to get out of walking around for five blocks, it wasn't until a month later that she finally took him to a doctor and found out that his foot was broken.
Things didn't change much when they moved to the fancy schmancy Westlake Village. He still really isn't used to the incredibly safe, crazy rich people in that town. It was all just too...pleasant. To him, it was like literally being in Pleasantville, except they weren't in black and white. But it had the same feeling to it, the whole flaunting money and the "I thought my BMW was too small, so Daddy bought me a Range Rover" kind of atmosphere. Westlake just wasn't for him. Always being a bit out there and thinking outside the box, he really didn't fit in that well. But it was only the beginning of high school when he first arrived there. His parents seemed to love it there, always having something planned for them to do like dinners with his father's boss or going to a dinner and a movie with his mother's country club friends. Sure they were happy, and they probably thought he was happy too, but he'd rather be back with his friends and not having to look and act the way his parents wanted him to.
His most changing life experience had to be at his first high school. When the preppy rich people first surrounded him. It was right after he was expelled from private school for various instances he entered public school as middle school begun, his rebellious side got a bit too much for his family. As this new high school came around his sarcasm and rebel ways began to get even worse. Discovering this new way of life in the beginning of high school, he embarked upon his quest for world domination through the unconventional ways of self-empowerment, self-reliance, and positively with his middle finger brazenly held high... all while running away from jocks and yuppie clones.
Being raised in a giant family did have its good points and its bad points. As much as he loved his family, he found them more to be something he really didn't want to have around. With all the drama they caused all the time, whether it was blaming somebody for something they didn't do, or just arguments. It just wasn't something he really wanted to deal with. Though it wasn't like he could vocalize his opinions since he was supposed to be strong, and not worry about things like this. However things changed for him once he took a week vacation to his aunt's house in Santa Monica. After experiencing such a refreshing place and witnessing the constant business of L.A. he realized that's where he really wanted to live. But yeah, things didn't really work out as he'd planned...so now he's here on this the Queen Mary. Maybe its a better choice than living in L.A. but he doesn't know for sure, hopefully is and if it isn't...then it was a good experience to have in his life? He doesn't know exactly for sure but he'd hoping for the best.

appearance,
Of average height, he stands at around 5'10", he is pretty athletically built. He keeps his dark brown hair short, since it is quite annoying to play with longer hair in his opinion. His dark black hair falls into his eyes with a sort of casual elegance most of the time. Usually his hair is somewhat long, but never too long, he takes pride in his appearance most of the time. Well, unless he has something else to think about, than he just does whatever he feels like doing. If he does something wrong like trip or something like that, he gets up as if he meant to do it. Just by watching his actions and even down to the way he walks, its easy to tell he is very confident.
He also has a pretty charming smile, which he uses quite often to charm his way into my hearts. The thing people comment him most on is his smile, he's got a smile like a little kid, and he usually only smiles when he finds something genuine to smile about. He doesn't smile much since he really only smiles when there is something to smile about, but when he does it's just beautiful. It's bright and cheerful. Ever since he was little everyone has told him he has a lot of emotion in his eyes. Like his friend used to you "it looks like you've got a little flame in your eyes whenever you get mad". He also has a pretty charming smile, which he uses quite often to charm his way into my hearts. Through his appearance he stands out pretty well in any crowd, but he really doesn't care. He likes the way he is and he isn't about to change it for anybody.
He's a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy; he really hates dressing up and looking fancy. It just clashes with his personality, but he can clean up pretty well. However when the event he's dressing up for is over, he'll go change into his regular clothes. Whenever he's with his parents he's usually in a long sleeved shirt and a tie just to make his mother happy, even if its really hot outside. His mother just likes the family to be in the nice formal attire all the time. Around school he's most known for his habit of wearing hats a lot, his friends usually can't spot him out in a crowd if he doesn't have a hat on that's how much he wears them. He likes comfortable clothes, but when he needs to be formal he can clean up pretty well and look very nice. But even then he likes to mix things up a bit for example, a formal suit and Converse shoes. Though he likes his style more than anything else.

personality,
Although labeled a bad boy, he is intellectually inclined and well read. He is sensitive and compassionate, wears his heart on his sleeve and is described as a "dreamer". Though he only shows that side whenever he isn't at school, he can be the good kid when he seems like he doesn't need the image of being the tough kid. He hates being pushed into things, he doesn't mind if people do whatever they want to do just as long as he doesn't feel like he has to do it too.
When he's with his friends and people he's more comfortable with, he's random and enjoys just hanging out and relaxing. He can be spontaneous, happy-go-lucky at the best of times. He's pretty easygoing when it comes to things and on more than one occasion he's been the people pleaser. He hates letting people down, maybe that's why he lies a lot. But he'd never lie intentionally to hurt somebody. Loyal, he will do anything for a friend. He'd rather help his friends with their problems than worry about his own problems. Friendly, funny, charming in that weird way. He can be a complete dork and is quite random at times. But he doesn't really care if anybody cares. He enjoys acting a lot and goofing around and just being silly sometimes.
There's a secretive part of him, which he rarely shows unless he knows he can trust whomever he is with. He keeps his personal life apart from his social student life as much as he can. The best way to describe it is almost like Nick Carraway's first impression of Gatsby:
"Precisely at that point it vanished --- and I was looking at an elegant young roughneck, a whose elaborate formality of speech just missed being absurd. Some time before he introduced himself I’d got a strong impression that he was picking words with care."
--The Great Gatsby (Fitzgerald 48)
But one thing is for sure; he's got a bad temper especially when it comes to hitting more personal notes. If any kid ever talked about his family or his past, he'd make sure that kid wouldn't talk anymore. He's had a few fights here and there but for the most part he just stays quiet until something really ticks him off, then that's the time most people either run or try to get back on his good side. In his words, he lives straight up: he will tell you when you’re out of line, he's not afraid to tell anybody what he thinks even if it gets him in trouble. The only time he doesn't tell people what he thinks is when he's vulnerable of criticism or something of that sorts.
Cash puts up the 'I'm so tough act' just because he can most of the time. But you wouldn't want to tick him off, cause once you get on his bad side you probably won't come off of it. . He pulls off the 'teach me I dare you' act pretty well, though in some instances he actually does want to learn. Seriously, being truthful he couldn't care less about most of the dramatic problems that goes on most of the time. He likes everyone unless you give him a reason to not like you. He doesn't really mind following people, but he doesn't mind being the leader either. He also pulls off the 'teach me I dare you' act pretty well, though in some instances he actually does want to learn. He hates being pushed into things, he doesn't mind if people do whatever they want to do just as long as he doesn't feel like he has to do it too.
When he's with his friends and people he's more comfortable with, he's random and enjoys just hanging out and relaxing. He prefers talking to just a few people than being with a whole group of people all at once since he is easily distracted. When it comes to large groups, he doesn't talk that much compared to how much he would talk if it was just a couple people and himself. He usually sets himself in the role of the older brother whenever people start doing stupid things. He looks out for everyone and is reliable and responsible when the time calls for it. His pleasant manner often attracts people to him with their problems which although he really doesn't find himself capable of offering practical advice but he does his best to give whatever help he can to his friends.
When it comes to work he prefers situations that allow a degree of independence, but are not too demanding in workload or responsibility. Though his personality proves him to be friendly, having an interest in people, and desire to please. However when he’s working he doesn’t like pleasing everyone just to please. He hates having to sit around and take other people’s work and do it for them because somebody wanted him to do it. He’s always on the watch for ways and means of making some "easy money" because of his initiative and ambition, producing his easy-going, come-what-may nature, which attaches value to money only for the self-enjoyment it can offer…well that’s what a fortuneteller once told him.
Is he superstitious? Well not really, he enjoys doing all the bad luck things like tarot cards and fortunetellers. But he just enjoys the idea that maybe something can be seen in the future and if he plays his cards right he could actually get good fortune out of it.
{ i`m trying to let you hear me as i am.

example,So there Cash was, lost in his own little world as he read his book, a collection of the works of Edgar Allen Poe, as he sat on the grass down by the lake. However, his focus was lost for a moment as he was interrupted for a moment by some people walking by, he looked up for a moment and then shook his head in disapproval and looked back down at his book. How he hated outside distractions when he was focused on something like this. But then again he was in a park by the lake, and on a pretty day like this, who wouldn't be taking advantage of the weather.
He sighed and found the spot where he had left off and continued to read. He was pretty focused on his reading; he enjoyed reading the classic dark romantics more than most of the other authors of that time period. Especially Poe, and with that much dark stuff it was a bit hard not to be a bit depressed. That whole sad romantic idea of losing a loved one, he didn't know how anybody could think of this stuff.
The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
Went envying her and me-
Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee...
Jeez no wonder Poe drank so much. Sighing a bit as he continued reading, he had no other plans for today, which was a quite refreshing. He kind of liked being able to do whatever he wanted at his own pace and no stress about having to meet somebody at a certain time or be at class or anything like that. He was dressed casually today, then again he was always dressed casually, wearing jeans and a black t-shirt, he had a jacket on over it since it was always a bit cold no matter what season it was in England. Even with a jacket he was still kind of cold but he was too into his book to think about anything else right now.
